You have heard the saying "When life gives you lemons, 🍋make lemonade."
An entrepreneur will tell you, “When life gives your lemons, open a lemonade stand!”
------ I can remember as a child 👧that I would sit in my room or other choice location in the house and pretend that I was running a business. I would have my briefcase, catalogs, order forms, and phone all ready to go. I could spend hours in my own little business world. I knew that one day I would own at least one business.
Then I grew up. Adulthood came barrelling 🌀in. I worked jobs and was good at what I did but could never seem to be satisfied. I still had that desire to work for myself. At the age of 19 I started a computer business along with the help of my dad. We created a successful business. Eventually, other personal things began to prevent us from continuing. So, I went back to working for someone else. Let's just say I was a little disappointed. To the point that I gave up on my dream.
I went on to build someone else's dreams💭 for the next 10 years. I was miserable to say the least. I put my whole heart in to every job I had to just be stabbed in the back or taken advantage of. I never felt like I was where I belonged. I knew I was where I was supposed to be in that moment because the Lord always has the best in mind for me. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for the experiences that I gained from the various jobs I held. It has given me knowledge that has come in handy. However, something was missing.
I finally jumped ship 🛳 working for someone else in 2011. I moved from Indiana to Florida. Again, with the help of my dad we started a business. I have been in business now for over 5 years and running. We have our struggles but I refuse to quit. My primary goal with this business is to help others achieve that "something" they may be missing or help them leave their mark on the world.
That same reason is why I also joined an awesome networking marketing company. It has blessed me in so many ways that I know it is part of the path God has for me. It is also a vehicle for me to help even more people achieve their goals and dreams.
I am an entrepreneur at heart ❤but I have come to realize I am so much more. I guess you can say I am a philanthropist. I want to do so much for others and serve others in whatever capacity that I may be in at the moment.
My ultimate goal 🎯is to start a non-profit that provides work for those who need a second chance that have been convicted of a crime, another organization that benefits families with children that have Cystic Fibrosis, and last but not least one that helps children and adults that have suffered from sexual abuse.
Some may think I dream too big or am off my rocker but that is okay. I will not apologize for what is in my heart and how God made me.
The biggest thing I want you to👀 see in all of this is that no matter what others think and no matter what obstacles you face you can achieve your goals no matter how small or how big they seem. We are all here for a purpose. So go out and fulfill that purpose.
